Administrative Assistant (Victoria) – July 21, 2021
Our Victoria location has a full-time opening for a fabulous administrative assistant. PCM is a boutique labour and employment law firm, and previous legal experience would be an asset. Our Victoria office has three full-time lawyers who need a confident, optimistic and helpful administrative assistant to provide daily clerical support and oversee the general workings of the office.
Our firm environment is informal and built on a highly supportive team of administrators and lawyers.
- Are you confident to work independently and also as a cooperative member of a team?
- Would your former employers consider you to be reliable and competent?
- Will you support the success of our lawyers in their work by paying attention to details and ensuring that your work is well-drafted?
We are looking for someone who will appreciate the flexibility and opportunity a smaller firm offers while being conscious that the concept “team player” is not just a catch phrase. We work together as a team and support one another in the successful execution of our responsibilities. Both the Vancouver and Victoria offices offer a cooperative environment while sharing supportive resources. If you are looking for an opportunity to use your administrative skills for the benefit of a team, we would like to talk to you.
Please send your resume and previous legal work experience by email to [email protected]. Additional information on the role and our needs will be shared with suitable, potential candidates.
Associates Positions – Vancouver and Victoria – Ongoing
Our strong growth has created an opening for up to two associates based in either our Vancouver or Victoria offices. We are also open to remote working arrangements.
You are an associate with at least one year of Canadian labour and employment experience. Strong analytical and writing skills are imperative, as is a desire to undertake hearing work both in the courts and before tribunals. This is a unique opportunity for a lawyer wishing to practice with several of the labour and employment bar’s most accomplished practitioners.
