PCM Lawyers is Delighted to Welcome Jessica Thomson to the Firm
Jessica Thomson has joined our Victoria office, adding 14 years of litigation experience to our team. She offers clients labour and employment law expertise from the management perspective developed during her time at a nationally-recognized employer-side labour and employment boutique in Edmonton.
Jessica advises and represents employers in union and non-unionized workplaces on employee management and discipline issues, labour relations matters, and human rights proceeding.
In addition, she has expertise conducting investigations of workplace misconduct complaints involving complex, sensitive circumstances. She has successfully assisted clients in the private and public sectors, including the government, education, not-for-profit, and health care sectors, to deal with matters ranging from bullying to sexual harassment and violence, as well as human rights violations.
Strong litigation skills are a key component of Jessica’s service offerings, combined with proactive advice for employers focused on identifying and effectively managing conflicts before they occur. However, there are times when disputes need to be addressed either before tribunals or the courts, and Jessica has established herself as a strong advocate on behalf of employer clients.
